Hi, I'm Kambrya!

I am so incredibly happy you are here!

As you know by now, my business is named "Sound Mind Photography." This name comes from my favorite Bible verse, 2 Timothy 1:7. My faith is a huge part of who I am and I believe Jesus has given me this platform to spread His love!

I truly am a lover of all things creative! Whether that be photos, music, art- all the things! So when I am not working, I can probably be found playing my instruments, baking, doing some kind of artsy project, or reading a good book! I got married in June of 2024, so a lot of my free time has been spent with my husband, and our golden doodle, Penny!

I LOVE pictures. Always have, always will. I think they hold such a special space for memories. I lost my mom to leukemia when I was 11 years old. I will never be able to explain how grateful I am to have so many photos of my mom. There are still times where I sit and look through photos of her and smile or cry because of the emotions that photos can invoke. This made me realize how truly valuable images of not only our loved ones, but also our different stages and moments in life are. THAT is where my heart for Sound Mind Photography is. I want to make sure that the people I get to work with have images from their most special, or even most normal stages in their lives. It’s so important to look at scheduling a photo session with a joyful spirit, knowing that these photos will be passed down for generations to come.
